Testimonials
Hello all — I have not been as active as I would have liked — trying to get back into the mainstream world after a lonnnnngggg divorce (that’s still not over the legal wrangling). Fortunately for me, I have great support from family and friends (and yes, friends who have been through divorce, because that’s the only way to understand it). But I have been reading everyone’s comments of their “trials by fire” with great compassion and empathy.
I was married 3 years, and it’s taking 1.5 years so far to get divorced because my husband has been trying to get $300,000 out of my Pre-Marital assets — which yes, is nearly impossible, but his snake attorney from Va Beach, Edward Wolcott, has led him down the primrose path to believe that he could (with attorneys like that, who needs enemies?) — all the while stacking up legal bills on both sides. What a waste of money. We’re almost done, and it seems that my husband will get about $2,000 of my Pre-Marital assets. But that is after I have paid $15,000 in legal bills to defend against it — his bills from Wolcott are probably over $25,000 (which my Newport News attorney wants me to find some solace in).
In any case, I would like to share a LIFE-SAVER “find” for me during all this — a divorce experience that both my counselor and my attorney of 35 years in the divorce profession have declared should be made into a “Lifetime Movie of the Week” — and that is my introduction to The Healing Fountain (in Va Beach in a professional park across from Mount Trashmore) last Spring when all this was first hitting the fan.
I could barely function back then, and now I’m not only functioning, but have discovered a new, much more enpowered “me” — a “me” that has been capable of not only “enduring” but personally and professionally “prospering” against all odds. Having come from a somewhat dysfunctional family, which is why of course I have chosen abusive men in the past, I have seen my share of pyschological counselors since childhood.
But Pamela Hopkins is COMPLETELY different. If you are hurting, if you are struggling, if you are a man or a woman, Pamela CAN make a HUGE difference in your life! She has literally saved my life. She is a licensed counselor, who takes regular insurance co-pays, and who also is a master of all sorts of other (more Eastern philosophy) modalities of emotional healing beyond western medicine’s clinical cognitive “talk it out” approach to counseling. She blends the best of all methods and customizes it to your needs. She told me in March 2007 that in just one year, I will not recognize myself — and BOY WAS SHE RIGHT!
Life is good — with the exception of leftover stress from the legal wranglings of the unpleasant divorce proceedings — but life is much better than it’s ever been! The Healing Fountain should be the first level of support anyone going through this should turn to — we must take the reins of our own lives and stop talking about the wrongs done to us and do something for ourselves that is positive, life-affirming, and transformational out of the wreckage of a intolerable marriage. Life can be better. We alone have the power to make it happen. Pamela can show you how.

”I recently experienced a very deep healing and profound spiritual connection guided by Pam’s amazing talent at The Healing Fountain. I cannot describe how liberating and free and peace-filled I am since experiencing this healing. I now feel like my life has a whole “new normal” and for the first time in years, I am able to walk in happiness, peace, optimism and with much gratitude - irregardless of what is going on in my life or in my world”. This healing was so powerful - it allowed me to gain the power of hope, faith and trust and to realize that everything I ever needed, was always inside of me”. JR - Va Beach
